The property is very unique as the map below shows. Not shown is the private trail crisscrossing across our 6 acres (highlighted in the yellow border).The land behind us (highlighted in blue) is accessible from our land only, so really yours to adventure through and enjoy. The beach area noted is occasionally under water (if the water is high), but there is another beach area to the north of the dam if you are looking for one.
We recommend a kayak trip from our pier, to the portage area to the right of the dam, then portage to below the dam and kayak the beautiful secluded Tomahawk River.The Little Rice Resort (4660 County Y, Hazelhurst)is a good place to have someone in a pickup truck pick you and the kayaks up to travel back to the cabin.
